How's that New Year's Resolution to get healthier going for you? Have you taken to wearing lycra and running around the neighbourhood each morning yet? How are you managing the ugly hat hair after having that bike ride? Have you found the right outfit to make you looker thinner to wear to the gym?

Don't despair. I've found a more gentle routine that will both improve your health and retain a semblance of sociability. More importantly, from personal experience, you won't feel as if you look like one of the hippopotami that dance in the Disney movie, Fantasia. Remember them?

Did you know that Square dancing combines mental concentration with many aspects of good physical exercise including sustained activity, flexibility, balance and coordination? Square dancers walk between 4 and 8 kilometres in a typical evening of dancing, burning calories with every step. Now seriously, doesn't that beat donning lycra?

EZ Squares Dance Club in Caboolture is looking for new members and are offering Beginners their first class FREE. Admittance is usually $8.00 every week and Beginners are being offered reduced fees of $60 if they attend for ten consecutive weeks. Bargain!

The Club meets at the Caboolture Showgrounds, C T Williams Hall, Gate2, Beerburrum Road, Caboolture, commencing at 7pm on Tuesday evenings.
