Compelling thriller based on the real life of Sonja Wigert
Sonja Wigert is a successful actress and singer, enjoying performing on stage and in movies. Sonja is carefree, she loves acting and glamorous life.

Sonja Wigert is then forced to collaborate with the Swedes Intelligence when her father is arrested and put in prison. She must come very close to Josef Terboven, the ReichsKommissar of occupied Norway in order to pass secret information to the Swedes.

To show her loyalty to the Nazi regime, Sonja gets asked then to spy on the Swedes for Terboven, becoming a double agent.

Unfortunately after the war it was difficult to clear her name as a Nazi spy. The truth of her contribution could only be revealed 25 years after she has passed away when the Swedish secret service archive released the information about Sonja Wigert.

The movie Spy was made in 2019 is dedicated to the incredible story of Sonja Wigert.

Sonja Wigert was born in Norway in 1913 and passed away in 1980 at the age of 66.

The director of the movie Spy is Jens Jonsson. The movie was scripted by two Norwegians Horald Rosenlow-Eeg and Jan Trigve Royneland.

Ingrid Bolsų Berdal delivers a great performance as a Sonja Wigert.

The beautiful and talented Sonja Wigert soon gets noticed by the German Nazi, which has already invaded Norway. Nazi Officer Josef Terboven has a weakness for beautiful divas. Sonja is a stunning woman, charming and educated. She wears impressive dresses, impeccable shoes and hats and the her hair is done to perfection.

When Sonja refuses to sing to a Nazi party and to meet personally Nazi Josef Terboven, her sick father is arrested and imprisoned. Sonja asks for help from the Swedish military espionage. With the promise to have her father released from prison, Sonja has to become the mistress of Josef Terboven, the ReichsKommissar.

Sonja has to infiltrate the enemy and she managed to discover lots of the secret documents of the German Nazi and give the information to the Swedes. But then Terboven asks Sonja to spy on the Swedes.

This compelling thriller has lots of twists and will engage your mind for all the length of the movie. In the different scenes of the movie Sonja has to fake different personalities, losing herself and struggling with the harsh reality.

The movie Spy explores historic facts in WWII, love and seduction to survive and espionage.

Ingrid Bolsų Berdal was born on March 2, 1980. She is now a Norwegian actress. Limbo marked the start of her career in 2005.

Cold Prey was released in October 2006 and it was her first leading role. It was a great success and she appeared in many other movies including Chernobyl Diaries, Hansel & Gretel, Witch Hunters and Hercules. Since 2016, she has played the role of Armistice in the HBO series Westworld.
