Snow-filled fun at Springvale Snow Fest
Springvale Snow Fest has become Melbourne's biggest snow themed event attracting more than 20,000 people. This year, the third year of the event, will be a show stopping experience you cannot miss!

The Springvale Snow Fest started from a simple idea of having a winter festival in Springvale to then receiving the Australian Event Award for Best New Event in Victoria. It is a unique and enjoyable experience which brings real snow play areas and simulated snow falls into the heart of Springvale.

The Springvale Snow Fest will take place on Sunday 19th July from 12pm to 7pm on Buckingham Avenue, right in the centre of the shopping precinct.

This year, the event is expected to attract over 25,000 people!

The highlight of this street festival is the 40 tonnes of REAL snow which is being transported from Mt Buller, straight off the mountain on the morning of the event! The streets will be jam packed with fun rides, attractions, market stalls, ice sculpting, live acts on stage, free activities, and delicious foods. Don't miss the fireworks at 6.50pm!

Other great attractions include a Leyton Real Estate Cubby Town where kids will be able to decorate their own cubby real estate with professional artist facilitators.

The Springvale Snow Fest will have many thrilling and affordable rides for the whole family for $2 to $6 per ride, including: a giant 30 metre slide, Cha Cha, Music Trip, Chair'o'Plane, Kite Rider, Cups and Saucers, and a Camelot Snow Jumping Castle.

The atmosphere will be buzzing with fun, as quirky and unique interactive roving performers ignite a sense of magic. It's a great opportunity to see these performers close up, with unusual acts you won't see anywhere else, like a walking glowing polar bear, giant illuminated jellyfish, and the ghostly Snow Queen puppet.

You'll also be spoilt for choice with delicious food options with over 30 food stalls selling traditional South East Asian Cuisine and many other delicious varieties of food.

Here's the Stage Program for the day:

12.10pm Traditional Lion Dance
12.40pm Formal speeches
