A mum of three, engineer, scientist, educator, and all around dabbler, I'm far better at finding interesting things to do than I am at doing housework.
Free festival fun
This Sunday, why not enjoy a free concert in lovely surroundings?

This weekend marks the start of the Springtime Music Festival in the City of Glen Eira. The festival begins with a free concert by the group Stoneflower in Gardenvale Park.

Stoneflower are known for their unique sound, which is a mix of jazz vocals, Brazilian bossa nova and pop adaptations. They have sold out shows around the country, but this is your opportunity to see them perform for free! Their music has been described as an "enchanting brand of elegant pop and contemporary sounds".

The concert takes place in Gardenvale Park, with the exact location to be determined on the day to suit conditions. It begins at 2:30pm, but it is recommended that you arrive earlier. The weather forecast is looking good, so why not bring some friends and a picnic and relax in the gardens while waiting for the show to begin.
