While walking past Springs Kebabs Turkish Bakery, freshly baked bread was displayed neatly in a row. I initially walked passed questioning if this bread was for sale or if they were going to use it for their menu. By the time I reached my car my brain had managed to shuffle our dinner menu around to include Turkish Flat Bread. How convenient!
The Turkish Flat Bead we see throughout Australia is originally known 'Pide' bread. It is interesting to know that these types of breads can also be used to make pizza. Ironically my three favorite foods have magically come together - pide bread, humus and pizza! Maybe I should take a closer look at my heritage.
Springs Kebabs Turkish Bakery offer more than just Turkish Flat Bread. They also make a range of kebabs and pizza. I could not help but notice my all-time favorite pizza topping: Spinach and Feta. However, as it was too early for dinner I purchased some bread and made a point to return for my favorite meal later in the week.
Found on the Right Hand Side after turning into Bridegman Drive.
Springs Kebabs Turkish Bakery can be found off Beechboro Road on Bridgeman Drive. While it is about 30 minutes north of Perth City (depending on the traffic), it is well worth a visit. In fact, it has been so well received by customers that it has received 92% on Urbanspoon. That, in itself, is a true reflection of how others rate this little bakery.
