Purchase cruelty-free wares, snack on vegan foods, and get acquainted with animal rights at the first ever Spring Vegan Festival.
Ironically taking place at the Meat Market in North Melbourne (who says vegans don't have a sense of humour?), the Spring Vegan Festival will be an all-day event taking place on Saturday the 28th of October. You don't have to be a vegan to attend- curious carnivores may find the Spring Vegan Festival to be an educational experience
Everything about the festival will be vegan, catering to those who choose not to use animal products. Quirky attractions include a vegan high tea and an art zone. For a more serious take on all things vegan, there will be an animal rights cinema. Entry costs a mere $2 per person.
Keep up-to-date with the latest news on the Spring Vegan Festival event page on Facebook. Thousands have already registered their interest for what is sure to be a popular event.
The event is hosted by Animal Liberation Victoria, a radical grass-roots organisation which fights to end human exploitation of animals. One pillar of the organisation is the promotion of a vegan diet.
