Spring st Grocery is a newish ice cream shop, just opposite Parliament station in the city.

It an authentic Italian gelateria which has late night trading. It does get busy thought. It is run by an Italian guy who came to Melbourne about ten years ago.

They don't have much seating, hence it is takeaway only, but they do have three flavours for $6.50 and more than three for $9. Their ice cream is homemade and made on premises, hence the flavours change from day to day.

On this warm day I went and bought ice cream from there and it was fresh and flavoursome. I had the fior di latte (vanilla) and the blueberry ice cream. I loved the creaminess of the fior di latte. Yummo.

Next time I would love to have the fior di latte flavour with something else just for a change. Oh yeah, and I think they also do juices and smoothies
