Book your kids into the Creative Lounge over the holidays
The City of Kingston's Kingston Arts division, has put together a school holiday program at the Shirley Burke Theatre to keep your children busy this September.
The recently renovated Shirley Burke Theatre falls under a stem of City of Kingston's creative umbrella. Parkdale's characterful theatre provides a boutique auditorium for local plays and productions, and the facilities to screen movies to a small audience (seats 167).
Entertainment aside, there is plenty of room in Shirley Burke Theatre reserved for the young folk of Melbourne in-between school terms. Each school holiday, the Shirley Burke Theatre transforms into the Creative Lounge for your children to get in touch with their artistic side.
