Attending a rose show is a wonderful way to see the very best roses grown in Adelaide. On show, in all the classes, including large-flowered roses (hybrid teas), cluster roses (floribundas) heritage roses, David Austin's English roses and floral art displays.

It is also the best time to choose your roses for next year's bare root season in winter. This may be when you buy your roses, but it is now in Spring you need to get out with notebook, pen and camera in hand and select your favourites. Of course, you cannot see the size of the plant but at rose shows, the experts are on hand to give you any help you may need.

So get along to one of the rose shows and mix and mingle with the best growers. There will be some interesting speakers and information booths on hand. Rose shows are the highlight of the year for members to share their love of roses and promote the growing of roses by all.
