Indulge your senses amidst a beautiful array of roses
Roses of all colours, shapes and sizes can be viewed and enjoyed at the Rose Society of South Australia Inc. 2016 Spring Rose Show will be held at the Burnside Community Centre, corner of Portrush Road and Greenhill Road, Tusmore, on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd October.

The official opening of the show by The Right Honourable, The Lord Mayor of Adelaide, Martin Haese, will take place at 3.00 pm on the Saturday and the show will be open to the public from 12 noon to 5.00 pm on the Saturday and from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm on the Sunday.

Trophies for the Grand Champion of the Show, the SA State Spring Rose Championship and the SA State Intermediate Spring Rose Championship Small Indulgences will be presented at the official opening. Other trophies and awards, including those for Secondary and Primary School students' classes and floral arrangements, will be presented at 4.00 pm on the Sunday, just before the close of the show.

Come along to enjoy a wonderful array of beautiful roses exhibited as cut flowers and in arrangements and floral displays. Entry to the event is $5 and the Rose Café will be open for refreshments. Plants will be available for sale and there will also be a trading table and a variety of trade displays.

Guest speakers to be featured at the event will be:

Melanie Trimper – "The Joy of Austin Roses" at 1.00 pm on Saturday 22nd.
Maureen Ross – "Selecting Roses for the Home Garden" at 1.00 pm on Sunday 23rd
Doug Gregory – "What Rose Is that?" at 2.00 pm on Sunday 23rd.

The Burnside Community Centre is air conditioned and provides disabled amenities and access and public toilets. Parking is available in an adjacent car park which can be accessed from Portrush Road or Fisher Street.
