Imagine spending a whole weekend renewing and relaxing your mind, body and spirit. Rediscovering the real you, redirecting your life path and recreating a life that you want.

That's what Rachel Gallon from Live Life Kinesiology believes women with busy lives need to take time out to do. 'I want to create a space where women can be nurtured and be themselves'.

For two days and two nights, at a residential location on 200 acres of picturesque rural setting just outside Daylesford, Rachel runs a Spring Retreat with a tailored programme that is flexible and structured. It caters to the personal needs of each woman who attends.

The programme includes: a one hour holistic consultation, a one hour full body aromatherapy massage that uses essential oils uniquely blended for each woman, an intimate Heartsong reflection where two to three people come together to set goals and design a concrete plan to steer your life in the direction you want for the coming season and a guided meditation with a focus on Spring's theme of rebirth and renewal. There is plenty of opportunity to commune with nature and walk through the bushland setting of this magical location. Rachel and her team also organise group walks and use this time to help participants integrate the various components of the programme.

As the weekend unfolds, Rachel's team reviews the progress of each woman, adjusting the individual's personal schedule according to her needs. There is a perfect balance of programme events and free time that gives each woman the opportunity to fully enjoy the location, make new friends or enjoy moments of solitude.

Rachel and her team know how important it is for women to focus on self-love, recognition of self and honouring the self. Most women forget self-care as they are usually the primary carer for others in today's busy electronic driven lives. Skills taught to the guests can be easily integrated in their day-to-day lives to ensure they take the time to nurture themselves once they arrive back home and resume their daily routines with a new and fresh approach.

Rachel personally cooks the meals for the retreat, catering to all dietary requirements. All meals are prepared on site and where possible organic ingredients are sourced locally to make food that nurtures the soul, like Spinach and Pumpkin Lasagna, Roasted Chicken with Rice, Quinoa and Pomegranate Salad, Spiced Carrot and Celeriac Soup. Retreat guests have enjoyed Rachel's cooking so much they have requested a cookbook.

Some women come to the retreat by themselves and leave having fostered new contacts and friendships. There is also a departing gift for each guest inspired by Spring. It is specially chosen to remind the women of the new skills and awareness they have gained about themselves and their lives.

Two weeks after the retreat, Rachel follows up with each guest to see how she is going.

The 2015 Spring Retreat runs from 28 to 30 August. The inclusive package price for the weekend is between $485 - $565. For those who can't get away for a whole weekend, there is a Spring Day Retreat for $195 combining aspects of the programme on 5 September in East Kew. Check out the Facebook Page for regular updates.

Rachel has a clinic in East Kew where individual sessions can be booked with her and her team.
