Start planning the ultimate wine trail today! The wineries are nestled among the green rolling Artisan Hills. In this pretty part of the world, among country Australian hamlets with typical Aussie names like Kangaroo Ground, Smiths Gully, Arthurs Creek, Yarrambat and Watsons Creek, the place oozes with history and charm. To get to the Artisan Hills region (only 45 minutes from the CBD or Melbourne Airport) head north of Melbourne, heading to Eltham or Greensborough – from there just follow the map.

Most wineries will be open from 11am to 5pm over the weekend (trading times vary between wineries, click here for more details), so there will be plenty of time to leisurely meander through the magnificent countryside and enjoy the delicious array of food and wine and great entertainment on offer.
Each winery will be presenting their own unique program of events and activities; from live music with local musicians to special family-friendly menus, there's sure to be something for everyone! Best of all - there's no need to book, just turn up and join in the fun!
