This is not the Red Geranium's first time at the op-shop fashion show rodeo, the previous fashion parades put together from The Red Geranium were a roaring success; with great feedback and a great time had by all who came along, not to mention they of course raised needed funds for M.S.F and their previous [event] partner charities. This time around is shaping up to be just as much fun if not even better considering past experiences.

The Red Geranium is a beautiful little op-shop found at 486 Goodowood Rd, Cumberland Park. Founded about 11 years ago by Val Maslin - who opened the shop with her own funding to support Medicine San Frontier (Doctors without Borders). M.S.F are an amazing charity who don't discriminate toward any race or religion and are often the first to respond to an emergency; they are doctors, nurses and other medical volunteers who risk their lives, in war zones and impoverished countries to help those in desperate need of aid. Unlike many other large charities, M.S.F keeps all their admin costs to a minimum so, that the majority of funding goes toward aid. Thus The Red Geranium holds M.S.F as its designated charity. About 6 years ago, the management of the shop was handed over to volunteer Judy Rogers who does an amazing job running the shop and still works the floor alongside a team of around 40 other volunteers.

Days for girls logo

Days For Girls is another amazing charity, aiming to help girls and women around the world (namely developing countries) gain access to menstrual care and education and helping to break down the stigma and limitations placed on these women. Days for girls has been named by the Huffington Post as a 'Next Ten' Organisation, meaning they [Days For Girls] are positioned to change the world in the next decade. D.F.G are creating a movement and have reached more than one million girls around the world – and counting. They say "with your help, we can reach Every Girl. Everywhere. Period" –Days For Girls

Ticket sales for this fabulous event go toward supporting these two life-changing charities. Along with the entertainment, there will be succulent pots for sale, 16 amazing raffle prizes to be won, a county style supper, the bar will be open – so let the good times flow.

Eftpos will be available on the night.

Bookings are essential, so please don't delay, grab your girlfriends and get together for this fabulous fashion evening which is supporting two great causes.
