The one and only event that shuts Corrimal down is . The main events happen on the Princess Highway Corrimal.

The festivities include the usual rides and stalls. Last year when I went was the first time, I had seen more multi-cultural food in Memorial Park. There is a stage which showcases our local talent.

The main event of the day is the street parade which usually starts at Corrimal library at 10am. There are a wide range of participants including local sport teams, local surf clubs, scouts, rotary, schools, belly dancers, the fire brigade and much more. The day of festivities end around 4pm.
