one day of fun
The one and only event that shuts Corrimal down is Spring into Corrimal. The main events happen on the Princess Highway Corrimal.
The festivities include the usual rides and stalls. Last year when I went was the first time, I had seen more multi-cultural food in Memorial Park. There is a stage which showcases our local talent.
The main event of the day is the street parade which usually starts at Corrimal library at 10am. There are a wide range of participants including local sport teams, local surf clubs, scouts, rotary, schools, belly dancers, the fire brigade and much more. The day of festivities end around 4pm.
