Yesterdays World - Tuesday 20 August and 10 September
Step back in time and take a guided journey through the Bert Tyler Vintage Machinery Museum and Telegraph Centre. The tour will conclude with a free relaxing morning tea with prizes for those paying attention. Bookings are essential.
Art House on Hobbs Gallery - Thursday 1 August to Saturday 30 November, (closed Sundays)
The Armadale Society of Artists invites you to visit them at their new home The Art House on Hobbs. Their talented and diverse membership produces a wide range of artwork in a variety of mediums including sculpture and painting.
Springtime Experience with Elite Tours - Friday 6 September
Your coach tour starts with morning tea at the Perth Hills Armadale Visitor Centre, followed by a trip to Araluen Botanic Park to view the magnificent gardens. See the outstanding display of tulips, flowers and shrubs. After lunch, it's off to Raeburn Orchards to stock up on fresh fruit and veggies before returning home.
Armadale Highland Gathering and Perth Kilt Run
Come on down to Minnawarra Park and register for the 2.5km Classic or the 5km Warrior, but be prepared for a visual spectacle of bagpipes, kilts, and all things Scottish! Following the run, enjoy a medieval fair, where you can experience Scottish arts and crafts, highland dancing and bagpipe competitions, meet and greet adorable Scottish dogs, watch the intense Heavy Events competitions and of course, test your taste buds with haggis and other Scottish delights.
