Spring into Indro like a ninja
One of Brisbane largest retail centres, Indooroopilly Shopping Centre is turning a leaf this Spring with some fantastic, FREE community initiatives and children's activities to entertain shoppers this September. The festivities will be a celebration of art, culture and community.

To celebrate the season and Brisbane Festival, the centre is proud to feature a 4.3-metre pink Bunny thanks to #thestormiemillsproject as part of a new partnership. Visitors will also have the opportunity to WIN tickets to a range of iconic Brisbane Festival events throughout the month.

With school holidays just around the corner, mums can ensure their kids keep active for FREE with the shopping centre's launch of its adrenalin pumping Indro Warrior Obstacle Course. It will be physical fun and challenging with 11 activities. The 200sqm obstacle course has had a tick of approval by Aussie celebrity, trainer and author, Sam Wood who will make an official appearance at the centre on Saturday 23 September. Inspired by the popular television show, the children's version will feature two courses (22 obstacles).

A testament to the centre's commitment and dedication to the community, the centre will glisten in purple with spring blooms courtesy of a community built garden featuring the season's first jacaranda tree designed by 20 local kindergartens. For each Jacaranda flower created by the children, Indooroopilly will donate $1 to that Kindergarten.

Mums, get excited, because they're letting you do some hands-free shopping with our 3 hours of FREE childcare services in the centre. Every Thursday (excluding school holidays), they will be offering you "me time" so that you can enjoy some retail therapy or a catch up with friends as a solo agent. Parents will be able to drop their little ones (over 3 years old) to Minipilly for 3 hours of free childcare. This service will run every Thursday from 24 August to 14 September and from 5 October to 10 November from 10am to 1pm.

Party on down to Minipilly disco, held once a month. If it's your birthday month, you'll be crowned the King or Queen of the disco dance floor. The launch party is on Tuesday 12 September, from 9.30 to 10.30am and 10.30 to 11.30am. Minipilly is on Level 3 Near Myer/City Beach.
