If paleo and raw food is what is on your menu plan, then this is a workshop that you must not miss. It is on at that great venue, Wandering Cooks and if you don't already know it, check it out the Wandering Cooks website.
From pop-up food trucks to wine and beer tastings, to creating in a commercial kitchen and enjoying a night out with some good food, Wandering Cooks is an awesome place offering a variety of events and experiences.
This one is particularly attractive and will no doubt appeal to some Paleo lovers, but also others who are keen to "cook" with raw ingredients.
The menu sounds amazing and this is an event which has sold out quickly in the past, so it is a good idea to get your booking in early. The food is organic, gluten-free, raw and vegan. It does require a certain skill to tick the boxes for all of these.
This is what you'll be learning, and eating: Strawberry & orange frosty smoothie Spring vegetable & lemon cheese tart
Corn fritters w sour cream & tomato chilli salsa Zucchetti w rocket & lemon pesto
Lemon curd tart w passionfruit syrup
Key lime & coconut doughnuts
Strawberry, custard, & cream cake
Mint choc chip ice cream
You will be shown how to make all these delicious items and will be given comprehensive notes, as well as generous tastings to impress all those at home.
Everyone is welcome and there will be time to create, taste and question Ame who runs the raw food classes. The event takes place at Wandering Cooks, 1 Fish Lane ( Cnr of Fish Lane and Cordelia St) South Brisbane.
