Highlands Foodie Group is celebrating Spring with members' food and wine based events over the upcoming long weekend.

On Saturday 29 September, there will be a BBQ at Hot Canary Gourmet Meats, Railway Street, Bowral from 12pm - 2pm featuring local truffle products, artisan bread, cakes, pates and freshly picked local fruits and vegetables.

Mittagong Famers Market is on from 8am -1pm and the French inspired Le Jardin cafe and Garden Centre, Remembrance Drive Tahmoor will be open.

On Sunday 30 September, Dr Noel Arrod will be conducting tours of the mushroom growing tunnels at Mittagong. Bookings are necessary T: 4871 2524.

Nearby Joadja Vineyard is holding 'Music in the Vines' with new local jazz group BUMP. Visitors can picnic or enjoy pizzas hot from the wood-fired oven, free tastings of just released wines. Free entry from 1pm. au.
