Lots of fairs and markets during spring
Spring markets are almost upon us and now is the time to go shopping! Well, actually any time is good for shopping, but spring brings on the return of markets, fetes and fairs.

This is a list of some of the upcoming ones around Perth.

Roleystone Spring Markets
When: 9th September, from 10 am to 3 pm
Where: Cross Park, Roleystone
Cost: Free
Details: Artisan gifts, food trucks, live music, handmade crafts and children's activities.

Chittering Spring Festival
When: 14th to 16th September
Where: Chittering and surrounds
Details: Workshops, exhibits, stalls, historic vehicles, wildflower displays, walks, open nurseries and more throughout Chittering!

Food Truck Twilight Market
When: 15th September, from 3 pm to 7 pm
Where: 55 Fortescue Place, Ellenbrook
Cost: Free
Details: Fun filled family afternoon with multicultural food trucks, market stalls, kids' entertainment. All funds raised go to St Helena's Catholic Primary School.

Markets in the Valley
When: 30th September, from 11 am to 3 pm
Where: Ugly Duckling Wines, 7790 West Swan Road, West Swan
Details: Ugly Duckling Wines is a boutique vineyard in the heart of the Swan Valley. There will be stalls and Ugly Duckling will also have goods to sell.

Mega Markets
When: 30th September, from 8 am to 12 noon
Where: Palmyra Western Farmers Markets, 60 McKimmie St, East Fremantle
Cost: Free
Details: Over 45 stalls, including the usual Farmers' Market plus arts, craft, gourmet and gift stalls. Also live musical entertainment, children's activities, a game zone and a bouncy castle.

When: 6th October, from 8.30 am to 2.30 pm
Where: Central Mall, Kalamunda

Details: Featuring hundreds of stalls offering unique creations and gifts for all ages.

Kalamunda Garden Festival
When: 7th October, from 8 am to 1 pm
Where: Kalamunda
Cost: Free
Details: A garden festival in Kalamunda with all aspects of gardening, sustainable practices and horticulture. Also stalls, displays and guest speakers in the Village Square Hall.

Elmar's Oktoberfest
When: 13th and 20th October, from 11 am to 5 pm
Where: 8731 West Swan Road, Henley Brook
Cost: From $31 - buy tickets here
Details: Several adult events as well as a family one. Live music, steins in the largest Biergarten. Also games, including stein holding, Bratwurst eating and tug-o-war.

Kalamunda Night Market
When: 19th October, from 6 pm to 9 pm
Where: Haynes Street, Kalamunda

Details: There will be food stalls, artisan stalls and plenty of activities for the children.
