A spring pop-up event at the newly redeveloped QV1 Plaza
To celebrate the arrival of spring, Perth's newly redeveloped QV1 Plaza is hosting Spring Fest, a series of events happening through September to November. It's all kicking off with the Spring Fest Opening Event, a free lunchtime pop-up festival on Thursday, 20 September.
The festival opener will take place from 11am to 2pm at the QV1 Plaza, located at the corner of Hay and Milligan Street, Perth. The plaza will be blossoming with all things spring, including live music, market stalls, bubble blowing entertainment, and fresh flowers.
A stunning native floral installation created by Sir Botanical will be the centrepiece of the festival. This vibrant Insta-worthy installation will be suspended from the magnificent QV1 Plaza Oculus and will be on display from Monday, 17 September to Friday, 12 October, for guests to view and snap selfies with.
Just some of the food being served up at Spring Fest include Mary Street Bakery, Zensaki Japanese Canteen, and Tiny's, all offering spring-inspired food and drink offers from pop-up stalls, including friands and rice paper rolls with edible flowers, colourful sushi, spring fruit cups, non-alcoholic cocktails and more.
By making a purchase at one of the Spring Fest pop-up stalls, customers will automatically receive a pin code to unlock Harry the ATM! He'll be dispensing all sorts of Spring surprises between 12pm and 2pm, including fresh flowers, Guys Grooming gift vouchers, indulgent pamper packages for Endota Spa and movie tickets to experience Palace Raine Square Cinemas. Plus, Harry the ATM will dispense a Golden Ticket to one lucky person, who will win an overnight stay for two at The Melbourne Hotel!
As well as the food stalls, Endota Spa will be offering complimentary back, shoulder and arm massages, while Sir Botanical will be selling colourful posies. You can also listen to live music and enjoy 20% off the range of products at Perth Succulent Bowls.
Throughout the day, Eat House will also be giving out free keep cups, along with $2 coffees from Thursday, 20 September to Friday, 19 October to anyone who returns and purchases a coffee using their special keep cup.
QV1 Plaza will also be live with festivities for Melbourne Cup on Tuesday, 6 November, with a massive pop up screen, the TAB, a cool DJ and Tiny's keeping the party going with a grand pop up bar in the plaza.
Come along to this free lunchtime pop-up event and enjoy all the spoils of this newly redeveloped urban community.
