Nollamara is a suburb of Perth and only ten kilometres from Perth's CBD. Once considered an older part of Perth, some of Nollamara's houses have been replaced with new townhouses and an influx of young families and professionals now reside there. The name "Nollamara" is an Aboriginal word for plant; the plant being the Red and Green Kangaroo Paw and of which is Western Australia's floral emblem.
For this event, the West Coast Steiner School Grounds will be transformed into a colourful and vibrant marketplace where you can meander through craft stalls, meet local artisans, see student performances, and eat from wholesome food stalls, listen to storytelling and take part in the school tours. With Christmas being just around the corner, why not grab the right gift for your friends and loved ones?
The event will be held on Saturday 2nd November 2019 from 10.00am to 3.00pm and is also a celebration of the year end. Vegan and Gluten-Free options are available in the delicious food and snacks stalls.
As the school is working towards sustainability and plastic-free, you are encouraged to bring your own water bottles and coffee cups. There will be a wash up stand available for your use.
