Spring into the fresh and final Dreamers Market for 2013
The season of Spring brings many a glorious thing, fresh flowers bursting into bloom, the sun shining bright, busy bees buzzing about and this year it also brings the final Dreamers Market for 2013. Since their launch market in Spring of 2012, the Dreamers Market has gone absolutely gangbusters, so I hope many of you are familiar with their story, but for those of you who aren't, I'll give you a little run down of their unique approach.
Motivated by their own personal credo, the team at Dreamers, Monique, Marie and Joan, wanted to provide an environment that focused specifically on true artisans and their one of a kind, Australian, handmade creations. With so many markets these days simply reselling mass-produced products with no heart and soul, the Dreamers Market put stringent guidelines in place so as to only allow the most authentic artists, designers, crafters and bakers original wares to be put on show. The Dreamers Market wants to offer only the best of the best to its patrons, taking great pride in their own goods as well as all who join this welcoming and friendly-spirited market.
With each new market comes bright, new sellers to introduce to the shoppers. The team at Dreamers strive to bring fresh and exciting treasures to the table to nestle in alongside the old favourites that inevitably keep people coming back time and time again.
The passionate women that brought this market to life couldn't be more thrilled with all the wonderful thousands of people experiencing the Dreamers Market and sharing in their labour of love. The only thing more impressive than the mark they've already made in the community, is the fact that their market has been officially recognised by being shortlisted in the 2013 Australian Craft Awards. For such a young market, only being on the scene for a brief amount of time, this is a great feat and is well deserved.
A couple of my favourite stalls that are back again are Odie's Cookies and Love Mitzi. I must admit, I certainly do look forward to any stall that is food-oriented and these two are well worth a look and undoubtedly a taste. Odie's Cookies supplies some divinely dangerous cookies adorned with an assortment of chocolate treats, while Love Mitzi bakes up homemade banana bread, walnut loaves and other goodies in small batches, so as to take great care.
If you're a sucker for all things adorably kiddy and want to pick up a treat for your little one, or a gift for someone else's bundle of joy, then there's plenty to choose from at Busy Bee Baby Gifts, Willow Tree Kids and Gallerie Marie.
For a gorgeous piece of art to make a statement, I couldn't go past Mandy Kopelke Art. I'm looking forward to taking a look at her stall, as the works I've seen on her website pop with colour and have certainly intrigued me.

As if that wasn't enough, there are of course even more stalls to see on the day, bursting with fresh, unique and carefully crafted goods all for your enjoyment. So make sure you head out to the final Dreamers Market of 2013, to experience it for the first time, or to get your last satisfying fix until the new year.
