Say hello to the world with these cultural festivals
This Spring, Sydney will be showcasing a range of Cultural Events that will be filled with plenty of family-friendly fun!

1. Taiwanese Festival
When: 5-6 September 2015: 5th: 11am-9pm & 6th: 10am-5pm
Where: Palm Grove, Darling Harbour
Cost: Free
Details: Enjoy a celebration of Taiwanese lifestyle, food, culture, art, night markets, street food, children's folklore, games, traditional live performances, cultural workshop and more.

2. France in Chatswood
When: 5- 19 September 2015
Where: Level 2, 6 Spring St, Chatswood
Cost: Free
Details: Learn, discover and fall in love with France with this event! There will be activities, french lessons for adults and children, free tastings of crepes, cheeses & wines, photography exhibition and more.

3. Brazilian 'Ritmo' Festival
When: 20 September 2015: 11am-7pm
Where: Palm Grove, Darling Harbour
Cost: Free
Details: Celebrate Brazilian culture featuring arts & crafts, live music, dance, performances, food stalls including the famous Brazilian BBQ & feijoada stew, Brazilian beers and more.

4. Malaysia Festival
When: 27 September 2015: 12pm-9pm
Where: Pyrmont Bay Park, Darling Harbour
Cost: Free
Details: Be sure to arrive with an empty tummy and feast on authentic Malaysian delights at the Festival. The event will also feature a range of live performances including traditional Malay dances, modern-day music, games and more.

5. Darling Harbour Fiesta (Latin Fiesta)
When: 3-11 October 2015
Where: Darling Harbour
Cost: Free
Details: This Fiesta celebrates all things Latin with Latino movies, music, dance, food, cultural performances, entertainment, Latin cinema outdoors, local and international Latino bands, DJs, dance acts, delicious Latin soul food and more.

6. Lebanon Carnival
When: 8 October 2015: 11am-5pm
Where: Harbouside Amphitheatre, Darling Harbour
Cost: Free
Details: The Event will showcase all things Lebanese including music, dance including traditional dabke dance, performances, belly dancers, entertainment, arts & crafts, an array of tasty foods, market stalls, activities and more.

7. Diwali Festival
When: 18 October 2015:
Where: Blacktown Showgrounds, Richmond Rd, Blacktown
Cost: $ 5pp
Details: Celebrate the Diwali culture with Bollywood performances, entertainment, music, dance, performances, DJs, kids rides, food, fireworks, face painting, cultural dances, entertainment and more.

8. Parramasala
When: 23-25 October 2015
Where: Various locations across Parramatta- see website
Cost: Free
Details: Celebrate the exotic India with this Festival. It will include a spicy mix of parades, exotic bazaar, food stalls, music, dance, poetry, film, street parade (travelling along Church St), fireworks, games, performances, entertainment and more. Friday 23 October 2015 to Sunday 25 October 2015

9. Norton Street Italian Festa
When: 25 October 2015: 10am-5pm
Where: Norton St, Leichhardt
Cost: Free
Details: Norton St is known as 'Little Italy' and the best way to experience Italy without the price tag of flying there is this Festival! It will showcase free cooking demonstrations, fine Italian food produce stalls, activities for the kids, dance competitions, concerts, games, music, dance and more.

10. Matsuri in Sydney
When: 7 November 2015: 11am-7pm
Where: Palm Grove, Darling Harbour
Cost: Free
Details: This Japanese Festival celebrates the Japanese culture with an array of entertainment, twirling red umbrellas shows, karate and sumo demonstrations, folk dance, music, taiko drumming, demonstrations, classes, activities, food and more...

11. Deepavali Festival
When: 7- 8 November 2015: from 11am
Where: Parramatta Park, cnr of Pitt & Macquarie Streets, Parramatta
Cost: Free
Details: Celebrate the Hindu culture with this festival, it will feature lots of colour, theatre, music, kids and youth activities, competitions, food stalls, cultural exhibitions, dance performances, entertainment and more.
