Spring Bluff is a gorgeous piece of history nestled between Toowoomba and Ipswich, beautifully adorned with a stunning array of flowers all year round.

Many people flock to Spring Bluff during Toowoomba's Carnival of Flowers
A heritage-listed site, the station was decommissioned in 1992, however, Queensland Rail offers passenger rides each September as part of the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers (TCoF) programme of events. Tickets usually go on sale in August but you'll need to be quick as they sell out fast!
Many locals rave about Spring Bluff in the Springtime, partially due to the nostalgia of the train ride, however, I find this place amazing every time I go.

Admire the stunning flowers or enjoy a picnic in the grassed bbq area
With its quaint pancake cottage, grassed picnic areas, walking track, oversized checkerboard and playground it is sure to be a favourite.

The track is an easy walk for people with a general fitness level
The site is 20 minutes drive from Toowoomba. You can pack your own picnic with the option to use one of the gas BBQs if you desire.
Although the site is quite shady, be sure to pack your water, hats and sunscreen to fully enjoy your day out.

Pancake Cottage offers delicious treats 6 days a week
