Free food for some fun in the gardens
Come to Wittunga Botanic Garden south of Adelaide and help volunteers of all ages at their Spring Blitz. At 8.30am on Sunday September 13 you're invited to join the Blitz and help plant Australian natives, mulch and hand weed the gardens.
This is the first time that Wittunga has had a Blitz and volunteers will be rewarded with a free sausage sizzle lunch at midday, and be given a take-home goodie bag from Neutrog too.
Wittunga Botanic Garden celebrates its 40th birthday on Satuday October 17 in a very special way - the very first Fork on the Road south of Adelaide. Your contribution at the Blitz will help Wittunga look its best for the thousands of visitors expected to come up and feast on fine food on the day. Why not come along to the Blitz and give a helping hand at these fantastic free gardens?
Please note that advance registration on the website is required to take part in the Spring Blitz at Wittunga.
