Spring has crept up on us again, and so has another great 21 shows, expos and events at the Adelaide Showgrounds, specially put on for all of us to enjoy.



Royal Adelaide Show (1-10 September)

The Royal Adelaide Show returns to its traditional home at the Showgrounds for yet another year of rides, bags and dagwood dogs, plus probably a few things to keep Mum and Dad interested as well !



Craft and Quilt Fair (21-24 September)

On for four days, the Craft and Quilt Fair has all the materials, tools and advice you'll need to create a great quilt, or alternatively just buy one of the finished products that are for sale there.

Irish Dance 2017 Australian Championships (26 September - 1 October)

The 50th Irish Dance Australian Championships promise a week of fun with dances from the 1960's until now, and much memorabilia and period costume to boot.

Royal Adelaide Wine Show (29 September)

At the Royal Adelaide Wine Show , the judges assess entries in several different classes such as Aromatic Style, Blends, Varietal Classes and Brandy before declaring the winners and inviting the public in to come and enjoy some tastings.



Oktoberfest in the Gardens (7 October)

It's October and it can mean only one thing in Germany, and Oktoberfest is here to help you taste your way across Europe with a large selection of imported German beer, cider, wine and a range of other beverages.

Native Plants Sale (7-8 October)

After a particularly interesting winter, this year's spring native plants sale looks to have a few special plants in amongst all the traditional favourites, and all coming at the time when the garden is calling for some attention.



Whole Life Expo (7-8 October)

For an alternative look at life and to discover personal strengths and happiness why not pop into the Whole Life Expo with a number of leading experts, authors and presenters on inspiring healing therapies, complementary health, spirituality and personal development.



Horse of the Year (13-14 October)

Equestrian SA's premier event is Horse of the Year where horses and riders from all over SA compete across a number of different events including jumping and dressage.

Gardening and Outdoor Living Show (13-15 October)

The Gardening & Outdoor Living Show showcases everything in gardening and outdoor renovation including plants, gardening products, landscaping ideas and expert advice. The show features guest celebrities, inspirational landscape displays plus DIY demos & seminars.



Sunday Mail HIA Home Show (13-15 October)

The Sunday Mail HIA Home Show is the exhibition of many new and outstanding grand ideas for your home and garden, including all the latest products associated with renovations, building, gardening, landscaping, outdoor living, furnishings, décor and energy saving.

Food and Cooking Show (13-15 October)

Complementing the big weekend of shows is the Food and Cooking Show where demonstrations all weekend are sure to inspire many new culinary delights across the kitchens of Adelaide.

Spring Bridal Ideas Expo (14-15 October)

Spring is the season for blossoms, and the Spring Bridal Ideas Expo will help your special day blossom into a memory that won't be forgotten in a hurry. Get all the latest advice, and view all the latest products as you contemplate the biggest day on your calendar.



SA Boat & Fishing and 4WD & Adventure Show (20-22 October)

Combining the boating and fishing show with a 4WD and Adventure Show , this event offers "two shows for the price of one" with all the latest boats, boating & fishing gear, 4WD & camping accessories, camper trailers and off-road caravans.



Disability, Ageing and Lifestyle Expo (27 October)

Presented by the Seniors Information Service, the Disability, Ageing and Lifestyle Expo is an opportunity to explore the different services, products and opportunities available within the sector.

Adelaide Antique Fair (27-29 October)

Back at the Showgrounds for its second year is the Adelaide Antique Fair , a unique event bringing together Australia's leading Antique and Collectables dealers. Quality, individuality and character are guaranteed as well as a chance to find that unique decorating items you've been dreaming of.



Adelaide Auto Expo (10-11 November)

Also back again this spring, the Adelaide Auto Expo features a number of sub-events and stages including the Adelaide Hot Rod Show, Extreme Auto Show, Elite show cars, traders alley, a dream car garage, new car showroom, tuff street, a dyne comp and a Show N Shine.

IICA Adelaide Technology Expo (15 November)

The free IICA Adelaide Technology Expo has over 50 companies showcasing their products, software and ideas related to the Instrumentation, Control and Automation Industry.

Supanova Pop Culture Expo (17-19 November)

The Supanova Pop Culture Expo is where the adoring public comes face to face with the Supa-Star celebrities that have been created from the world of comic books, science-fiction, console gaming, fantasy, entertainment technology and fan-clubs.

Bowerbird Design Market (24-26 November)

The Bowerbird Design Market is the biannual event that continues to grow by fostering and supporting Australian designers, makers and artists. The Market is 30 days before Christmas, thus giving you a chance to cross off a few of those unique gifts for some of your loved ones.



Pacific School Games Opening Ceremony (3 December)

The tenth annual Pacific School Games kicks off at the Showgrounds on 3rd December, and the public are all invited to attend the opening ceremony, watch the parade and get behind your State and kids as they seek to take home the medals.

Santa's Wonderland (9 - 18 December)

An all inclusive price entitles you to unlimited rides, the activity trail, breathtaking decorations and characters at Santa's Wonderland , just in time for Christmas and the Summer School Holidays.

Farmers Markets (every Sunday)

Why not get there are little earlier, and pay a visit to the Adelaide Showground Farmers Market from 9am to 1pm on Sundays for some fresh produce, products and cafe style foods.
