The Randwick Ritz. Tickets are much cheaper than the bigger theatres and they play all the latest films. Coogee Beach is only a short downhill walk from The Spot so it would be worthwhile to make a day of it.

Pinocchio's Steakhouse is the place to be for a hearty Italian meal. Try their vodka Bloody Mary oyster shots, $4.70 each (pictured) for a taste of summer. They open for dinner every day except Monday.
In the mood for something lighter?
KinJo Japanese is sure to satisfy. Try their delicious soft shell crab salad (pictured) for only $11.Open daily for lunch and dinner.

For a huge, cheap and greasy fry up head over to the
Traditional Hot Chip Shop. They sell the perfect hangover food; they even do deep fried mars bars for $3.50. So bad but so good. Open daily from 11.30am till late.

For something a little fancier, try the
Four Frogs Creperie. Their salted caramel and white chocolate ice-cream crepe with toasted almonds (pictured) will really hit the spot. You'll want to drink the sauce, they make it themselves. They open from 11am on weekdays and 7.30am on weekends.

Bat Country is another great place for brunch, lunch and dinner. They are a fully licensed bar too, so it's the perfect place for a cocktail or three. Try the flaming
'Monument to Mischief' (pictured). If you can get in early try one of their almond and walnut chocolate croissants. The carb coma is worth it. They open daily from 7am till late.

The Sweet Spot Patisserie is a must try. They sell everything from traditional Greek biscuits to large cakes. The range is huge so it's fun to bring some friends or family and eat in. Try one of their huge summer shakes on a hot day (pictured). It's also a pleasant spot to bring a date. They open Monday 7am-6pm, Tuesday-Friday 7am-10pm and Saturday-Sunday 8.30am-10pm.

Poco's Cantina is a nice, authentic Mexican restaurant. The Margaritas are salty and tangy, happiness in a glass. For only $6.90 you could get tipsy quick. Slow it down with one of their tasty chimichangas (pictured). Poco's open 5.30pm-10.30pm Tuesday-Sunday.

You definitely want a piece of
Kurtosh. The cakes are melt in your mouth delicious. You will be attracted to this patisserie by the smell alone, they are baking fresh all day. The slab cakes (pictured) are sold by weight, so you get to decide how much you want to buy ($4.90/100g).

Since you are already there, it is worthwhile buying a kurtosh cake (pictured). Watch them make it fresh in front of you, they are perfect for afternoon tea. Kurtosh open daily till 10pm.
If you are in the mood for a little shopping the spot has you covered.
Live This is a fantastic little gift shop, selling everything from handbags and clothing to homewares and jewellery. They open Sunday-Thursday 11am-7pm and Friday-Saturday 11am-10pm.

The Spot Festival is held yearly in March and features a fun-filled day of live bands and great local market stalls.
The restaurants are open late but remember to book on a weekend because they always fill up fast.
