As the Halloween season approaches, swing away the evil spirits at this year's Spooky Putt Putt course at Victoria Park.

Prepare to follow the path of ghosts, ghouls and skeletons who have overtaken the course and will attempt to tip you off your game and land the perfect hole in one shot. Be sure to watch out for the scary visitors along the lines of the course, hanging from and sneaking in behind trees and water features as you take your shot and aim to score a hole-in-one.

This year the theme is "Back From The Dead" and some of the in this year's feature holes are called Broken Bones Boulevard and Carn-evil. You get the hang of it.

For those who are new to the world of putt putt, this fun game takes its lead from the game of golf but is designed to be an immersive experience. Putters are lightweight and vary depending on the height of the player. The course is compact (in comparison to the green of a full-length course) and of course, it's the theming and obstacles that make it interesting and entertaining for everyone. But beware, It can be just as frustrating as the full-length game when you miss getting the ball into the hole by just centimetres.

Spooky Putt Putt will overtake the 18-hole mini golf course with its own bold and brutal critters and creatures from Friday 13 September (what else) and dare to scare players until Sunday 3 November 2024.

Victoria Park / Barrambin is undergoing a transformation led by the Brisbane City Council to see it become a natural retreat and urban park for adventure, discovery and reconnection. The Council's main plan for the site promises new projects in the park to create more to see and do.

As this is an outdoor experience, be sure to bring a hat, water and sunscreen. You can purchase drinks from the cafe which can be enjoyed on the green. No prior game experience is required just a desire for fun, laughter, a dash of competitive spirit and a keen eye for the unexpected.
