In the Big Top's Foyer Bar 2, you'll find Spooksville, aimed at families with younger children. It takes place during the day with Showtime entertainment, Trick or Treat Houses and spooky activities. There's a special meet and greet with Lunabelle, as well as outdoor performances that will have you dancing along with the crew of spooky fun.
The Spooksville Pantomime is a highlight where you'll be not only dancing but singing and laughing as the werewolf, pumpkin and zombies go trick or treating, unbeknownst to them that the mischievous witch is stealing their lollies. The 30-minute show runs 3 times daily at 11am,12.30pm & 2pm.
The Trick or Treat Houses run 15-minutes after each show. At the Broken Doll House, you can pick up a treat from porcelain doll Betty, whilst at the Big Blue House, you can visit Alfred the monster. Don't forget to stroll over to Lunabelle in her Halloween best.
Plenty of food is available, including some spooky pie faces and graveyard sausage rolls. Showbags provide more, adding to the spooky theme.
This fun all takes place over 3 weekends, from 17th October, 10.30am-4pm.
Tickets are $50p.p. and this includes unlimited rides. On arrival, you will need to register for Spooksville at the Hungry Horse Showbag Stand. Seating and social distancing will be in line with the government's pandemic regulations. Be sure to read all the requirements before booking.
This is Sydney's scariest Halloween experience with hair-raising horrors and spine-chilling thrills. It's a Halloween nightmare after dark (not for the faint-hearted) for those aged 14yrs and over.
The bloodthirsty fun runs for 6 frightful nights and includes 3 thrilling mazes, more than 10 creepy characters, entertainment with Scaremony performances, and unlimited rides all night.
At the helm, pulling the strings, is villainous puppet master Mr Bowler. Once a famous marionette maker, he shared his joy with children for many years before becoming bored with lifeless objects. He now, through the use of his engineered bowler hat, has mastered the art of mind control on the living and is on the hunt for new subjects to coerce in his puppet show of horrors. Avoid falling under his spell, should you wish to stay sane.
The mazes bring more fear for you to survive, with each one having its own horrific theme. The Outback Butcher lives in the pub that's a front for some deadly goings-on, whilst DecayMart is every zombie film rolled into a supermarket run to get out and Block 13 sees prisoners rebelling with spooky stuff pouring out of a burst pipe. Beware, there will be lots of dark corridors, startling special effects, loud noises, smoke machines, strobe lighting and theatrical blood. It is scary. You will scream.
On the brighter side, there's devilish delights with themed food and drinks, including cocktails.
Dressing up for the occasion is encouraged. There are plenty of awesome photo opportunities and this is one Instagrammable place.
