Halloween is almost upon and what better way to celebrate it than with the family. The East Melbourne Library has organised a great Halloween party for the whole family.
The Spook Family Night will kick off at 6pm on 31 October 2013 and will draw its curtain at 8pm. This family-friendly environment is inviting all the valiant souls, young and old, to pay a visit to their spooky gathering. The event will be marked by the sharing of jokes, ghost story telling, eerie music, dance and party games. Guests are encouraged to dress up for the occasion, donning the most horrifying and revolting costumes ever. There will be giveaways throughout the evening.
This event will also feature a photo booth to enable guests to take a souvenir snap of their shocking attire and look. Guests can even wrap themselves in the mummy mural by unleashing their creativity. Of course no Halloween event will be complete without sweet treats. Hence, sweet treats will be offered to make the little ones ecstatic. As a word of caution for the parents: sweet treats may contain traces of nuts and/or food colouring.
Aimed at delivering a spine tingling sensation while having bucket load of fun, this event will be an amazing affair. East Melbourne Library membership is not a prerequisite for gaining entry. All are welcome to this free event. However, there is only one condition of entry: you must remember a joke and tell this joke to the greeting party at the door. Easy.
The East Melbourne Library is located at 122 George Street, East Melbourne and is highly accessible by both car and public transport. Highlight the date on your calendar and bring your family to a night of free Halloween fun.
