Need a laugh? Well who doesn't? Well you're in luck, are back in town with another unpredictable show that is predictably hilarious.

It's no small feat, but this is billed as Australia's favourite improv musical comedy troupe. With boundless imagination and enough energy to light up a city, get ready for a fast moving laugh out loud show.

I knew this was going to be an interactive show because a soon as we arrived we were asked to think up an imaginary song title and place them in the 'Bucket of Dreams'. I am not offended that my Pink elephant with hiccups was not selected. Once the title has been chosen, the actors selected a musical genre and with ad-libbed storylines off they went. Dr Suess was right 'Oh the places you can go…!'

Each of the four actors got to lead a song and then the audience chooses one storyline that they'd like to be developed into a full on Broadway show. How they can get their act together in the break to do this seems impossible. It's so much fun!

If you've never been to an improvised musical, the first song told it all. The lyrics went like this: 'There are only two things we know: the name of this show is called and this is the start of the show.' It was performed with gusto and created a great deal of enthusiasm and anticipation from the audience.

The all-star team line up includes host Russell Fletcher, recent AACTA nominee, Emily Taheny, Rik Brown, Gillian Cosgriff, Scott Brennan, Sally Bourne, Andrew McClelland, Casey Bennetto along with the Maestro John Thorn at the piano. What a talented bunch of Aussie performers and a great team.

Don't be dissuaded from attending if you are not keen on musicals. This is unlike other musical theatre shows. It's guaranteed to make you laugh. This show is for all ages. I met a retired couple on the way in who had had their tickets for ages. When I inquired as to why they came they said they'd seen the troupe before and last time they promised when came back they'd go again. That's a pretty good recommendation.

Throughout the show the audience spontaneously joined in the clapping. They cheered, laughed and at other times the silence was deafening. I enjoyed their harmless political jokes, the integration of controversial issues and dramatic movements, one-liners, facial expressions and quirky dancing. Really, I enjoyed it all and have a great appreciation for performers who can (under the pressure of time and a live audience) can produce anything so quickly but especially a performance that is so funny.

has been a huge hit at festivals around Australia. When tickets are only from $17, it's a cheap night out. There's only two more shows so book now!

This is your chance to be creative and become a composer of musical theatre. There's also a prize for the creator of the title that is performed. Support our Aussie actors and have an awesome night out.
