Importing Kiba and Elka Children's Rainwear from Denmark

Bayside's Georgi Manger created Splish Splash Rainwear in 2007; like many great finds, necessity was the mother of "invention". Georgi was a working mum who couldn't find any suitable waterproof pants for her toddler to play in at the park when the weather was wet. Following an exhaustive search for good quality kids' rain suits, she began importing Danish brands Kiba and Elka Rainwear into Australia. With a suitable pair of gumboots, her two daughters (and you and your kids!) can now get out in rainy and windy weather, and splash in puddles while staying warm and dry.

Stop and smell the flowers, even when it's raining

My boys love their Elka Rainwear suits; they are beautifully soft and lined for comfort, yet fully waterproof. Warning to the "uninitiated" in wet outdoor play: wet weather plus rainproof pants equals a super-speedy slide! Oops! Luckily these suits can be wiped clean and even thrown in the washing machine after getting all wet and muddy (because we did!).

Splish Splash Rainwear distributes children's waterproof clothing right across Australia, and also send them as far afield as Germany and the United States.

Contact Georgi and check out her website at to order.

These children's rainsuits are made from high quality Polyurethane/Polyester material and guaranteed waterproof and windproof. They are also soft, light, breathable, easy to move in and comfortable to wear. Ideal for trips to the snow, visits to the park on a windy day, playing in the garden, wet sandpits, bushwalks, helping to wash the car, and thousands more uses.

Our next purchase? Gumboots for the boys, and rainwear for Mum!
