Spare Parts Puppet Theatre is proudly presenting the fun-filled Splat! these July school holidays!
Splat! is jam-packed with heart-stopping action, astonishing acrobatics, awesome puppetry and hilarious clowning, that's sure to leave audiences breathless with laughter and amazement. And all without a word!
This exciting and colourful production is written by Sally Richardson and directed by Philip Mitchell and will resonate with all age groups, as young as three years and up with its celebration of friendship, the enjoyment of playing together and the limitless possibilities of the imagination
The cast includes Bec Bradley, Imanuel Dado and Yvan Karlsson, who deliver a non-stop, high-energy fusion of physical movement, clowning and puppetry.
The production, which is a 'show ride' of circus, puppetry, dance, digital animation, and paper play is are to inspire creativity and expressiveness in young audience members and as part of the Spare Parts Puppet Theatre school holiday program, children can partake in an interactive puppet-making workshop. This series of hands-on workshops provide the perfect opportunity for children to get creative within the wild and wacky walls of Spare Parts Puppet Theatre's historical building in Fremantle. Each child will design and build their very own puppet made with found materials and learn how to bring it to life. Choose from one day workshops suitable for 4 to 6 years and two day workshops suitable for 7 to 12 years.
Splat! runs at at Spare Parts Puppet Theatre in Fremantle from 2nd to 16th July 2016. Performances will be held Monday to Saturday at 10am & 1pm. Evening performances 6:30pm July 6 & 15.
