SPLASH Waterpark is a temporary inflatable obstacle course that is located at
Little Nelson Bay, in front of the
Dolphin Watch Café at the marina. It is set up for the spring, summer and autumn school holidays each year - see
here for the dates this season. It is designed for children and adults between 6 - 86, so
all ages can enjoy it this family attraction out on the bay (children aged 6-9 years must be accompanied by a responsible person aged 16 years or older). The sessions last for one hour, so you have plenty of time to try everything out, again and again....if you have the energy!
Get ready for plenty of laughter and good times, on the beautiful waters of Nelson Bay.

Book your session time
online, which will cost $25 for a 1 hour session. On weekends, public holidays and school holidays, they recommend you arrive 45 minutes before your session time, to get your induction training, sign a waiver and organise your life jacket. See the Splash Waterpark
Facebook for updates if it is windy or looks like a storm.
At the start of your session time, there are lifeguards which lead you down into the water and onto the course. It is then a short swim out to the obstacle course with your life jacket on, so if you have kids, ensure they feel confident in the water. After pulling yourself up onto the course, the fun begins! You can roll down slides, run up hills, jump between pontoons, cross stepping stones, climb the tower, run over spinning bridges, fall into the water and much more!

SPLASH Waterpark is also enjoyable for the spectators back on the beach, with many laughs had from the sidelines! Last year, a crowd had gathered to watch the antics on the inflatable pillow - one person would sit on the inflatable pillow, while another person jumped on the back - sending the first person flying through the air! Everyone watching laughed each time, creating a fun atmosphere
out of the water - as well as in!

SPLASH Waterpark is a franchise and they also have locations in Japan, run by Australian lifeguards. The website and Facebook is for both Japan and Nelson Bay, so don't be confused if you see Japanese writing on both. If you are a qualified lifeguard, there are job opportunities here and abroad - see
here for details.
With so many families visiting Nelson Bay each school holidays for some summer fun - you won't find a better activity for the kids than SPLASH Waterpark at Nelson Bay! It is organised, fun, challenging - but it is also quite tiring for both kids and adults alike...which is great, as it
may mean you get a holiday lie-in the next morning!
