Opened as part of Drought Funding under the Federal Government Drought Communities Programme – Extension,
Splash Town in Moonta, Yorke Peninsula is the newest addition to this Copper Coast area. This

Located at
200 Bay Road, Moonta Bay, on the foreshore right next to the caravan park and in front of the jetty, Splash Town has four large racer water slides with bright colours, kids slide, water mushrooms and more, with most under shades. But the one that has a huge hit amongst people who use this facility is the large tipping bucket to get splashed. There are some benches to sit down around this fully fence water park, but every time we were there they were always been occupied. So make sure you bring an extra towel to sit on the artificial turf as well as sunnies, a hat and sunscreen as this area is not undercover.
Toilet and changing facilities are also available in the complex. Parking sometimes will be challenging as this water park is always busy, plus is located on the very popular picturesque Moonta Bay foreshore.

There is signage on the fences outlining the safety rules for Splash Town, as well as a small box for donations. The water park won’t be open during winter. For updated opening times, please go to their Facebook
page before heading to Splash Town. If you have any questions, please contact the Copper Coast Visitor Information Centre on (08) 8821 2333 or Copper Coast Council on (08) 8828 1200.
