A circus show for all ages full of laughs and surprises
Overall rating: ★★★★★

The critically acclaimed circus troupe Dummies Corp returns to The Garden of Unearthly Delights with Splash Test Dummies. Australian performers Jamie Bretman, Simon Wright and Jack Coleman are ready to take you on a wet and wild adventure before you enter the venue. The performers made sure we got to our seats safely, no funny business. As the kids scramble for a front spot of the action, keep in mind nowhere is safe from getting a little wet. One parent is given a tarp to protect themselves from water and they make use of it during the show.

The crowd is immersed in the fun from the beginning with a game of volleyball before some audience members are trapped by the trio in net. Don't be alarmed as they will save you, even if it means crawling over the crowd. Then the real showboating begins with a display of stunt work, acrobatics and juggling with their hilarious slapstick comedy throughout. Even the sound engineer is chuckling.

The fun continues with a song, dance and bubbles in the tub to entice any smelly attendees to freshen up. The trio's energy never fades as they lift each other into the air and slam their bodies into the wooden stage floor. You'll be left with an open mouth as you see what the human body is able to do or from laughing at their playful imagination.

Winners of Best Children's Presentation at Adelaide Fringe Festival 2015 and 2016, you can see how the trio has been selling out shows around the globe. In its second run at the Adelaide Fringe, Splash Test Dummies is bigger and better than ever before with the inclusion of synchronised swimming unicycles, impressive magic tricks and engaging puppetry.
