A laidback gastropub obsessed with beer,
used to be a dress shop but now serves up an eclectic menu of brews and burgers. Long tables under tin lamps create a carefree, communal feel. Wait staff is friendly and knowledgeable about their 40 bottles and long row of drafts. The choices focus on craft and seasonal beers such as winter lagers and watermelon beers.
Their brewer's list is eclectic, including international favorites from England, Ireland, Germany, and Belgium. From the States, showcases bottles and drafts from Pennsylvania, Maine, Washington, California, Illinois, Oregon, Vermont, and Massachusetts. New York labels include:

Thirsty revelers can sit down for great snacks and hearty meals. The lunch and dinner menu include pub classics with upscale twists. Local favorites begin with the simple bowl of pickles and move onto decadent Truffle Mac and Cheese, a Pot of Meatballs, and Kobe Sliders.
If Kobe beef sliders are too danty for your fingers, go for the full-sized version served with Brioche buns. Other choice entrees include Pan-Seared Bass and a Lamb Burger.
For lighter fare, salads and sandwiches accompany a pilsner pint just as well. Try a Mango Summer Salad, the Grilled Shrimp and Avocado Salad, or the Braised Pork Belly Sandwich.
On Staurdays and Sundays from 10am to 4:30pm, brunch is served. Lunch classics are included on the menu alongside Lemon Ricotta Pancakes, Fresh Avocado Omelets, and a Venison Hash & Eggs. Organic eggs are available. And don't forget to order a bellini, mimosa, or an organic Bloody Mary.
