Spirit of ANZAC Centenary Experience, an exhibition that is touring Australia will be at Orange Indoor Tennis Club, Orange, NSW from 12 - 17 March 2017.

Tickets to the exhibition are free but online bookings are encouraged. Walk-ins are welcome on weekdays only, as weekends are almost fully booked.

This exhibition is a flagship community project of the ANZAC Centenary national programme and features genuine artefacts and historical stories. The exhibition is divided into 12 time zones, starting from pre First World War era to the present day:

Zone 1 Australia – A Nation in the Making: Australians' interests, fashions, entertainment and emerging technologies before the First World War.

Zone 2 War is Declared: Australia at the outbreak of war in Europe when young Australian men enlist to fight for Britain, the mother country.

Zone 3 Setting Sail: young recruits head overseas.

Zone 4 Training in Egypt: training in the desert before heading to Gallipoli.

Zone 5 Gallipoli: key facts of the campaign from the dawn landing on 25 April 1915 to the evacuation

Zone 6 Trenches on the Western Front: life in the fields of Belgium and France.

Zone 7 Western Front 1916 and 1917: key battles that Australian troops were involved in.

Zone 8 Western Front 1918: battlefields of 1918 and story of the Australian Flying Corps.

Zone 9 Sinai Palestine: Australian battles of Sinai and Palestine from 1916 – 1918.

Zone 10 Aftermath: repatriation of Australian forces at the sudden end of war and challenges faced by the returning soldiers.

Zone 11 Lest We Forget: reflection, comtemplation and commemoration.

Zone 12 Century of Service: Australian's armed forces involvement in conflict, peacekeeping, peacemaking, humanitarian assistance and disaster relief around the world.
