Sophisticated quaint cottage-style cafe located in delightful Tamborine Mountain. You find great food, delicious drinks, coffee and ornaments for the house. Also, there are a variety of fine gourmet foods made in Australia.

Statement of Spice of Life CafeAt Spice of Life, we are passionate about exciting, quality food and exceptional customer service. We aim to offer a fascinating and varied taste experience each time you visit our Café and Deli. Where Locals Eat and Meet on Tamborine Mountain.

The menu is rich with tantalising options and a great variety of drinks. Gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options are available. The kitchen opens relatively early, at 6:45 am you can start your day with a fresh and nutritious breakfast.



Available from 6:45am to 5:00pm is Soup of the Day, Salad, Moroccan Hagira (vegan), Lamb's fry, Beef & Burgundy Pie, Sweet Potato Lentil Pie, Quiche of the Day, Gourmet Sandwiches and Toasties.

From 6:45am to noon, the food available is more breakfast style but with different twists, like Big Daddy Breakfast (gluten-free) Eggs Benedict (gluten-free) Asian Omelette (vegetarian), Brekky Wrap, Chilli Scrambled Eggs, Smashed avocado (suitable for vegetarian),

From noon to 5:00pmm the food on the menu is more suitable for lunch and dinner. Salt & Pepper Calamari, Nasi Goreng (vegetarian and vegan), Mexican Shredded Chicken Nachos (gluten-free), Pulled Pork Soft Tacos, Crispy Noodle Mango Salad (vegan) Mediterranean Roast Veggie & Lentil Salad (suitable for gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian diet).

There are many more choices on the menu and they are all below $20.

The menu also includes an option for kids, Bacon and Egg Roll, Fried Egg with Toast, Pancake (vegetarian), German Bratwurst, Fish & Chips, Cheeseburger and Toastie. The prices range from $8.9 to $12.9

At Spice of Life, you can choose between many decadent cakes and biscuits.

The coffee shop has an astonishing collection of decorative and colourful clocks, cups, book notes, vases and many other items. Quirky and unusual decorative ornaments that make great and original presents and gifts for different occasions.













Spice of Life is an ideal place to celebrate birthdays, Mother's Day and Father's Day. The food is very nice and you can have a choice of beautiful cakes for your important functions.







The cafe has also an assortment of products like specialty biscuits from Italy and it has Turkish Delights. Grab a few to take home with you to enjoy later.



Spice of Life has a range of products from Pukara Estate, like Australian Balsamic Vinegar caramel flavour and pomegranate flavour, White Wine Liquor. Pukara Estate is located in New South Wales surrounded by olive trees. Pukara Estate makes Australian extra virgin olive oils, vinegar and distinctive food products. Flavours is their passion.

Spice of Life has also a range of products from Simply Stirred,
manufacturer of an award-winning range of Dressings, Mayonnaise, Marinades, Relishes and Gift Packs. Part of Hunter Heritage Gourmet Food group.



Apiaries 8 produces pure Australian honey. The passion for bees and honey is a family business. Apiaries 8 is based in Brisbane and the aviaries are located in prime positions where there are many flowers available.





Terra Australis are products of Maleny, QLD. Country Harvest began to make something special in 1993, producing chutneys, jams, mustards and conserves. Only the best fruits and the best herbs are used to produce gourmet food and preference is given to organic produce. The products have low content in sugar, no preservatives or colouring.

I visit Spice of Life Cafe when I hike in Tamborine Mountain. At lunchtime, together with the Group Hiking South East Qld and More, we have lunch and refreshments.





Spice of Life Cafe has been 16 years in Tamborine Mountain, successfully ran by Heike Edrich and her professional staff.
