You have not tasted crispy pork crackling until you've tasted the pork belly at Spice I Am. This dish was the stir fried crispy pork belly, Chinese broccoli and oyster sauce.
When they say crispy, they mean crispy - even the meatier parts of the pork belly were crunchy and the whole thing is a deliciously indulgent affair of flavour and texture. There was a fair balance between the broccoli and the meat and the sauce wasn't as oily as you would expect.
For those as sensitive to spiciness as I am, you may find the broccoli, sauce and pork belly near the chilli a little spicy but it probably won't register for most. In hindsight, between the oyster sauce and richness of the pork belly, getting some plain rice with this dish is definitely recommended.
This dish is a great 'beginner level' dish that gives you the restaurant's distinctive pork belly with a mild 'beginner level' punch of spiciness to the tastebuds.
