Saturday and Sunday afternoons are best spent taking a stroll through the city, this inevitably leads to discovering new places - hidden treasures you could not even begin to imagine existed. So this weekend, I decided to go on an adventure and this is what I found:

Queen Victoria Market

If you are looking for a place where you can enjoy a simple but cheap meal then this is the place for you. It is relaxing and swarms with tourists ever so ready to land their hands on remarkable souvenirs.

Tourist Centre

Throw on a pair of RayBans (I was surprised to find authentic pairs ever so affordable); believe me when I say you will need some sunnies - the heat gets a little excruciating. However, that will not deprive you from seeing the esteemed Federation Square.

Lygon St, Carlton

Feeling a little Italian? Worry not - here, you will find the best Italian food! Funny though how all of Chinatown in most parts of the world are so similar. Well, this is just another Chinatown with good Italian food.

And that is how I spent my Sunday afternoon!
