The smile still hasn't left my son's face since we organised a surprise ride for him in an old school Ferrari for his 10th birthday present last weekend. He's one of those kids that's easy-going, isn't fazed by too much, and generally keeps his emotions to himself... but last Sunday when a Ferrari turned up in the same car park that we were in... he nearly lost his mind! So you can just imagine the look of surprise on his face when I said "Guess who's going for a ride in a Ferrari today?". As a parent, I can tell you that that look on his face will stay etched in my memory forever, and I know he'll never forget it.

If you have a car obsessed child like mine or a husband, partner, friend or relative that has a special appreciation for old school super-cars then you must book them a ride in Tony's Ferrari. Not only will this be such an amazing surprise, but if they're anything like my son it will be "the best present ever" and "nothing will beat that experience mum!"

You're probably thinking that a Ferrari ride for a 10-year-olds birthday present is little bit extravagant, and you'd probably be correct... but when the Ferrari ride only costs $120 for a one hour ride around the Dandenong Ranges, then you'd have to agree that you couldn't even get a one hour taxi ride for that, nor would anything else valued at $120 have given him that much joy.

Admittedly being a protective mum I didn't want to throw him in a car with just anyone, so I researched Tony first before booking him a ride and found out that Tony is actually a driving instructor by day at Pro Am Driving School . With that peace of mind, I spoke to Tony and booked my sons ride in for the Sunday before his birthday (Tony usually only books rides in on the weekends).

Tony met us at an agreed location 5 minutes ahead of schedule. He was well dressed, very personable and quickly made our son at ease with going for a drive with a 'complete stranger'. The car was immaculate, I'm sure Tony had been polishing it for hours beforehand as there was not a speck of dust on it.

Within a few minutes of meeting the boys were off zipping through the stunning countryside in the Dandenong Ranges, chatting endlessly about super-cars... naturally!

Just over an hour later, the boys arrived back at the meeting place and my son had the biggest ear to ear grin that I've ever seen. Tony opened his door and let my son into the driver's seat for some photos, and then gave him a Ferrari sticker as a memento of his ride. As soon as we got home we made v-line to Officeworks to print out a collage of all the pictures. He then proudly stuck his memento sicker onto the photo before we framed it and then he said "mum now we just need to paint my bedroom wall to match my Ferrari picture"

**Oh boy, what have we started!
**
A big thanks goes to Tony for making our boy's birthday the most memorable so far.

If you want to book a ride you can private message Tony via his Facebook page here , or call him on 049781753
