As the weather is warming up, there is nothing better than enjoying art in an outdoor setting. I've handpicked a few great outdoor art activities for your exploration.

1. Open Street Art

Open Street Art, which is part of Art & About Sydney, features 16 innovative paintings by Australian contemporary street artists, Anthony Lister, Beastman, Shannon Crees and Hiroyasu Tsuri.

This surely offers you a great opportunity to enjoy public art installations in the Darling Harbour Precinct.

2. Sydney Architecture Walks - Art, Place & Landscape

Sydney Architecture Walks is a guided tour, which takes you through various public places to delve into a world of art and architecture.

The tour starts by looking at Edge of Trees by Janet Laurence and Fiona Foley, and the walk continues through the Domain to Woolloomooloo Bay, as well as the new Art Gallery of NSW Asian Galleries extension.

3. Sculpture By The Sea

Sculpture By the Sea is an annual outdoor art event, allowing you to take a coastal walk between Bondi and Tamarama to view a wonderful collection of vibrant artworks surrounded by beautiful environment.

This is a must-see exhibition - so make sure you pencil a day in your diary.

When: 18 October - 4 November 2012

4. Outdoor Art Sydney in Olympic Park

The Sydney Olympic Park showcases more than 50 outdoor artworks relating to:

- The early industrial uses of the site.
The Olympic Games.
The current home of a new creative community.

This has turned the park into an open art gallery where you can soak up the outdoor enjoyment of the creative works on such a massive scale.
