One of the best things about Fringe is discovering the creative places people find to put on shows. This is one of them. Tucked away on the 4th floor above Harry's Bar on Grenfell St, Finarts is seemingly a yoga and dance room that has been turned into a makeshift theatre.
A number of shows are being held here throughout the Fringe, Sparrow is the story of Molly Skinner who has a connection to DH Lawrence. Actually it seems like DH Lawrence was in love with her but she friendzoned him pretty quickly, maybe because she was in love with Sybil. This one woman show paints a poetic picture of life in colonial Australia, but seemingly fast tracks through Molly's life. A bit more detail on events of importance might have been needed.
This isn't the best show I've ever seen, but hey it's Fringe: time to climb stairs in underutilized buildings and see some weird theatre.
