Learn, Play, Create, Move
Yay, Sparkys Carnival Family Fun Day is back for its third event this year, this time at the Albert Waterways Community Hall, in Broadbeach on Saturday 15th December, from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm.
It promises to be bigger and better than ever, as this wonderful carnival which promotes healthy living and creative interaction, goes from strength to strength.
There are loads of educational and fun activities for kids of all ages such as learning circus skills, kids fancy dress, soccer, story telling, creative play, musical performances, funky photo booth, dance, hair and nail art, rugby, youth drama, creative crafts, gardening, skipping, bugs, sack races, hula hooping, tug-of-war and walking the plank. That's a lot of entertainment in just one day, and not a TV, mobile or games console in sight.
Supported by The GCCC's Active & Healthy Program, these carnivals run by Mr Sparky Do Dah always champion health and wellbeing for all the whole family and the importance of living an active lifestyle for both the body and mind.
Albert Waterways Community Centre is located on the corner of Hooker and Sunshine Boulevard directly opposite Pacific Fair, so it is easier to get to than ever as Pacific Fair is the hub of most bus routes on the Gold Coast.
This is a fun-packed family day out that promotes health and encourages learning, exploring and creation that the whole family can enjoy, which won't break the bank. Tickets are just $15 per child, and adults and kids under 3 are free.
It is a healthy, informative, interactive family experience that is sure to have the kids fully worn out and getting creative. There are great things to keep the adults happy too, including free tea tasting and live music. Plus you can relax knowing the kids are being entertained in a safe environment.
Once you are in - all of the activities and performances are free!
See the website for more information, to see videos from the previous carnivals and details on how to book your tickets.
