Join the party in North Melbourne on Saturday 8th April 2017 at the 2nd annual Spanish Language Fiesta being held from 10am – 6pm in one of North Melbourne's most historic laneways, situated between the North Melbourne Town Hall and the public Library. The combination of fantastic music, vibrant activities and authentic food and drink promises to make this a fun filled day for all.
There's something for all ages at this year's fiesta with a program full of activities. Check out the pop up Spanish Cinema, community street art, Spanish language book swap and a language wall, as well as heaps of art & craft workshops for both the young and young at heart.
Spanish and Latin American inspired street food will line the main area of the fiesta with everything from arepas and albondigas to Argentinian BBQ and churros, all which can be washed down with refreshing Sangria or a cold can of Spanish Moritz beer!
The day will be choc-a-block with Spanish and Latin American music, dance and interactive workshops which are sure to keep you entertained and on your feet. Who knows, you might event learn some new moves.
What better opportunity to experience the sights and sounds of Spanish and Latin American culture while celebrating it's place within our own Melbourne community, than by coming along to this free and inclusive laneway party.
nete a nuestra celebración!
The 2nd annual Spanish Language Fiesta is sponsored by the City of Melbourne, City West Water, the Consul General of Spain in Melbourne, Farolito Spanish Language School, Callejero TV, Cento Mani Cafe, North Melbourne Library, North & West Melbourne Precinct Association, North & West Melbourne News and Moritz Australia.
