The Barracks host Spanish Té mañanero
The Barracks at Petrie Terrace is well known for hosting some of Brisbane's most popular events and their latest - Spanish Té mañanero (morning tea), will be no exception.

On Saturday August 18, the upstairs of the Palace Barracks Cinema will be transformed into a Spanish fiesta with guests treated to high tea towers filled with traditional Spanish delicacies and panoramic views of Brisbane city.

Upon arrival, guests will be given a Spanish hot chocolate before being seated for the morning tea.

On the Menu: Delicious Churros

The té mañanero menu is sure to delight Brisbane foodies - it includes churros with chocolate dipping sauce as well as traditional Spanish orange and almond cakes, handmade chocolates, citron tarts and Spanish finger sandwiches.

After the morning tea, guests will be treated to a special one-off screening of the multi-award winning film Chinese Take-Away, (Un Cuento Chino).

Following the film's popularity at the Spanish Film Festival this year at Palace Centro, it will be a fitting end to such a unique event.

The event starts at 11am and concludes at 2pm. Tickets are $45.00 per person and can be purchased online. Limited seats are available so be quick! For more information visit the website.
