My knowledge of all-things Spanish is negligible, although I do seem to have a hazy recollection of a lost weekend drinking sangria with friends about thirty years ago. Sangria and pimento stuffed green olives.
So I am excited to be attending a Spanish themed fiesta at the Jacobs Well Bayside Tavern on Saturday, the 19th of March. The Fiesta, commencing at dusk, promises to be full of the colour, food, dancers, music, art and atmosphere of Spain.

Flamenco del Mar, an internationally acclaimed Spanish performance group, will be sharing authentic Spanish music, which will include guitar, percussion, dance and song.

To compliment the entertainment there will be traditional Spanish cuisine : Tapas, Paella , Churros and, yes, Sangria.
