Kids ages 7 to 13 are in for an 'out of the world' experience this January. TechCamps4Kids has created an amazing holiday program that allows kids to design and create their own space projects.
There are 6 camps booked, with one camp already sold out in Shenton Park. The best part is that kids get to keep their projects they create. Wish I was a kid again!
Every camp is uniquely different with kids learning and making different things. One of the things that caught my eye was the micro bot! I could do with a few of those in the kitchen; one for cleaning the floor, the other for dishes and a few making dinner!
TechCamps4Kids' goal is to inspire kids with skills which can be used now and in the future. Learning about things that kids love means they will want be more engaged in school and in learning. Plus, with a project-based social environment, kids work together while building confidence.
Recently, TechCamps4Kids' hosted a promotion for one of the local schools to inspire more kids in space, science and technology. A camp day costs $135.00, however, with this promotion, local kids could register for only $59.00 for the whole day. I asked if they could extend this offer to WeekendNotes' Readers and they were happy to. Not only do WeekendNotes' Readers receive a discount to that one camp, they also receive the same discount to any of the 6 camps advertised for January 2018. Just type in SPACE as the promo code when booking a ticket!
