Migration Museum Adelaide is located on 82 Kintore Avenue, Adelaide. The Migration Museum works towards the preservation, understanding and enjoyment of South Australia's diverse cultures. It is a place to discover the many identities of the people of South Australia through the stories of individuals and communities.
Migration Museum has new exciting program dedicated to children age 5 years and over. It's called Space Culture. This free family event will be held monthly on the last Sunday each month. No is booking required, but groups of 6 or more should inform the event organiser.
Migration Museum Adelaide
Sunday 22 February sees the launch of Culture Space at the Migration Museum. They will kick off this monthly initiative by celebrating the vibrant culture of the Greek Orthodox Community of South Australia. There will be museum discovery activities from 1:30pm, followed by an interactive dance session and performance presented by the Greek Orthodox Community Dance Academy from 2:15pm. The afternoon will be spent playing cultural games and exploring the museum through detective trails.
